PS.Cafe has arrived at Katong, with this new i12 Katong outlet boosting an airy indoor dining area and pet-friendly outdoor terrace.
The cafe is known to exude a contemporary and refreshing aura, good for people-watching.
Its spacious and bright interiors, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and indoor-outdoor seating options give it a stylish yet relaxed character.
You may be asking: what else is there other than their Truffle Shoestring Fries?
The recommended mains here include Crab Tart ($32), Simply Seared Barramundi ($32), and Crispy Roast Chicken ($29) with French onion and garlic bread sauce.
Only available at PS.Cafe Katong is the Bali Beef Cheek Rendang ($29), included with shallot scented rice, sambal tempeh, French beans, shredded egg omelet, winged bean salad, cucumber & pineapple pickle, and crispy prawn cracker.
Or if you have a hearty appetite, the PS Impossible Burger with Shoestring Fries ($30), Jack’s Creek Free Range Flat Iron Steak with Shoestring Fries ($45), Sticky BBQ Ribs with cabbage, walnut and potato slaw ($38), or Tiger Beer-Battered Dish with Shoestring Fries ($30) should satisfy.
For everyday brunch served till 4pm, there is the PS. Big Breakfast ($27). While not overly loaded yet filling, it includes smoked bacon, wilted spinach, crisp buttered toast, and cherry tomatoes.
Furthermore, you can opt for either poached, fried, or scrambled eggs. The café can make an egg white scramble or omelette ($5) for those wanting a healthy alternative.
Eventually, giving the breakfast a bit of volume are the baked beans, Angus or pork sausage, and rocket & basil salad with honey truffle dressing.
As for pasta lovers, you can look forward to The Original Laksa Leaf Pesto ($26) with spaghetti, king prawns, fishcake and French bean sambal; Spicy King Prawn Aglio Olio ($30), and Spaghetti Carbonara ($26).
Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted to know that the café has a separate dessert counter packed full of sweet and yummy delights.
The exclusive item here is the PS. Katong Chendol Panna Cotta ($15).
The other favourites of Double Chocolate Blackout Cake ($18), Florida Key Lime Pie ($15), Ultiate Fudge Brownie ($18), Sticky Date Pudding ($15) with lashings of toffee sauce can all be found as well.
And for only a small extra cost ($3.50) you can add a scoop of ice cream to finish off your meal in a truly decadent fashion.
