Comeback Phuket was a random find while I was around Chuan Chim, and it turned out to be a pretty decent coffee stop.
It is on Montri Road, not right in the busiest café part of Phuket Town (probably a 10 minutes’ walk to the main area).
The brand has roots beyond Phuket, with Comeback outlets also found in Hat Yai and Songkhla.
The Phuket outlet feels more like an everyday coffee stop than a destination café. Inside, the space uses warm wood panels, soft green seating, metal-edged tables and a few retro touches.
The signature drinks are probably the more fun part of the menu.
Best sellers include Stockholm (THB 85), made with double-layered ristretto and Comeback’s special milk, Ice Shaken Latte (THB 90), Dark Horizon (THB 90) with palm sugar, and Bedroom (THB 90) which is ice lemonade shaken espresso.
There are also many non-coffee and matcha options, including Matcha Dirty (THB 125), Matcha Latte (THB 85), Comeback Thai Tea (THB 65), TippleBlack (THB 90), Before Sunrise (THB 75), Before Midnight (THB 75) and Before Sunset (THB 85).
If you need something to pair with your latte, they offer some sweet treats like Banofee Pie, Banana Bread, and Strawberry Cheese Pie.
The Tiramisu (THB 90) I ordered was not the most intense version, but it had enough coffee flavour and creaminess to work with the drinks.
Comeback Phuket feels more like a comfortable everyday coffee stop than a café you plan your whole afternoon around. And it was not too crowded.
