Perhaps you may get tipsy over this ice cream.

The Ice Cream Bar which focuses on alcoholic ice cream flavours has opened a second outlet in the heart of town at 313@somerset.

This Somerset outlet is located at where Yakun used to be, near to the drop-off point.

Prices starts from $4.90 for a single scoop, $8.80 for double and $12.30 for triple, with additional $1 for premium flavours and $2 for double premium flavours – which may make it a more expensive affair if you happen to pick the alcoholic flavours.

Actually almost every flavour is a premium – just saying.

Alcoholic ice cream flavours include Whisky Nuts, Guinness Pistachio, XO Cranberry, Kahlua Cheesecake, Whisky Red Velvet, Baileys Brownies, Rum & Raisin, Smoked Cognac, and Bacardi Chocolate Crunch.

Parents who are worried about their kids getting drunk (just kidding) can opt for the Unicorn and Sicilian Pistachio.

Customers can expect both Buttermilk and Charcoal Waffles ($10.90 onwards with single scoop).

Compared to our first outing, this waffle turned out be better – lightly crispy and fluffy on the inside without being too ‘cakey’ or doughy.

There was a slight tinge of saltiness, which I think could be a tad less.

The Peanut Butter Brownie flavour was delightfully creamy and smooth, and I enjoyed that there were pieces of chocolate brownie chunks which gave it a more textural mouthfeel.

There is a version with whiskey, and it definitely the ice cream a mellow kick without being too overpowering.

The Marbled Sesame flavour came with a blend of black sesame and peanut ice cream, mixed with peanut sesame brittle for the added crunch.

Robust and earthy in flavours that resembled tang yuan (glutinous rice balls), the smooth texture was a pleasant contrast to the crunchiness of the brittle.

Using Weekdays Only blend (Brazil, and India) from PPP Coffee for their espresso-based drinks, Espresso ($4), Long Black ($4.30), Latte/ Cappuccino ($4.90), Mocha ($5.20), you can pair your ice cream with some coffee.
