Bugis has evolved into one of Singapore’s most dynamic café districts.

Beyond the fashion boutiques and vibrant street markets lies a growing lineup of dessert cafés, brunch spots and day-to-night dining venues found within Bugis+, Bugis Junction and Bugis Street.

Whether you are craving fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes, snowy Korean bingsu, botanical-themed brunches or affordable sourdough pizzas, the area offers far more variety than most shoppers realise.

Here is a curated guide to the Bugis Town cafés worth making time for in 2026:

Bloom & Boom
Bugis+ #07-04
Opening Hours: 11am – 10pm (Tues – Sun), Closed Mon

Dreamy Floral-Themed Day-To-Night Venue
Bloom & Boom introduces a stunning botanical sanctuary to Level 7 of Bugis+, blending a vintage cottagecore aesthetic with a versatile day-to-night dining concept.

The venue features a lush garden environment filled with floral arrangements and rustic furniture, offering a peaceful retreat from the busy shopping district below.

What I found interesting is its dual concept: it successfully transitions from a bright brunch spot into a dinner place as evening approaches, catering to both casual coffee drinkers and those seeking a more substantial dining experience.

The menu is broad and creative, featuring everything from delicate Berry Bavarois and Chocolate Mousse during the day, to hearty Angus Ribeye Steaks and Peking Duck Pizzas at night.

Now you know where to enjoy specialty lattes and pretty desserts that feels like a hidden European garden at Bugis Town.

Flipper’s
Bugis Junction #01-97
Opening Hours: 11am – 9:30pm (Mon – Thurs), 11am – 10pm (Fri, Eve of PH), 10.30am – 10pm (Sat, PH), 10:30am – 9:30pm (Sun)

Ultimate Destination for Fluffy Japanese Kiseki Soufflé Pancakes
Flipper’s brings a slice of Tokyo’s dessert obsession to Bugis Junction, specialising in their world-famous “Kiseki” or miracle pancakes.

It can be quite mesmerising to watch the chefs masterfully flip the delicate mounds of batter, which are cooked at a specific low temperature to achieve their signature airy texture.

I ordered the Pistachio Dream Dome, which is quite a showstopper.

These fluffy cloud-like soufflé pancakes are topped with a white chocolate dome that you melt away with a rich pistachio sauce.

There’s a secret inside! (which I shall leave you to discover)

While many come for the sweets, the savoury menu holds its own with the Omurice Wagyu Hamburg series.

The Sambal Tomato Omurice Wagyu Hamburg features a melt-in-your-mouth omelette topped on a juicy beef patty, served with a dashi tomato sauce that gets a spicy kick from the added sambal.

Opening Hours: 11am – 10pm (Mon – Sun)

Refreshing Korean Bingsu, Gimbap and Signature Injeolmi Desserts
Nunsaram Korean Dessert Café is found on the ground floor of Bugis Junction, specifically located facing North Bridge Road.

Because it faces the main road rather than the internal mall atrium, it is a café spot that some shoppers might accidentally miss, but it is well worth the short walk to find.

The menu is wide-ranging, featuring a wide array of bingsu flavours that range from traditional Injeolmi to more modern options like Milo, Oreo or Choco Banana.

I opted for the Green Tea Bingsu (available in regular or large), which arrived as a mountain of snowy shaved ice topped with a generous scoop of matcha ice cream and sweet red bean.

The ice is shaved so finely it truly mimics the texture of fresh snow, melting almost instantly on the tongue.

To balance out the cold sweets, I also had the Original Gimbap, which is a savoury roll filled with chicken ham, burdock, yellow pickled radish, cucumber, carrot, and egg. Daebak!

Ice Lab
Bugis Street, 164 Rochor Road
Opening Hours: 11am – 10pm (Sun – Thurs), 11am – 11:45pm (Fri – Sat)

Korean Dessert Café for Rose Tteokbokki, Ramyeon, and Snowy Shaved Ice
Ice Lab provides a bright and fun Korean dessert haven right at the edge of the bustling Bugis Street.

With K-pop hits playing in the background, it is a space for groups of friends to gather and have a shaved ice or two.

The menu is an absolute playground for bingsu lovers, featuring over 20 different flavours of ultra-fine snow ice, from Watermelon, Dalgona, Minty Choco to Injeolmi Bingsu.

I opted for the Tiramisu Bingsu ($19.00), a mountain of snowy ice topped with a slice of tiramisu cake and a dusting of cocoa powder. The ice is shaved so finely that it melts instantly, making it a very rewarding end to a spicy meal.

Talking about spicy, not many know that Ice Lab actually serves a variety of savoury Korean dishes as well.

I tried the Cheezy Ramyeon, which arrived in a traditional gold pot with a flavour-packed, comforting broth, and the Rose Tteokbokki, which offers a creamy yet spicy twist on the classic rice cake dish.

AZUL Bugis+

AZUL Bugis+

AZUL
Bugis+ #05-01
Opening Hours: 11:30am – 10pm (Mon – Sun)

Hidden Spanish-Mexican Dining Gem at Golden Village
Did you know there is this sophisticated blue café located discreetly on the mezzanine floor within the Golden Village cinema at Bugis+?

Its name “AZUL” translates to “blue” in Spanish, which explains the distinctive colour-themed interior that gives a cool and modern atmosphere.

Although it sits inside the cinema complex, AZUL is open to the public as a standalone destination, so you can enjoy the vibrant vibes even if you are not there to watch a film.

The menu celebrates the lively flavours of Spanish and Mexican cuisine with a variety of classic and fusion dishes.

You can start your meal with the Garlic Shrimp ($20.00), which comes with prawns sautéed in butter, garlic chilli, and olive oil, served with two slices of garlic butter bread to soak up all those spices.

I also enjoyed the popular Quesadillas because they provide a satisfying savoury punch without being too heavy.

Finish with the Churro Balls, as the combination of warm, crunchy mini churros, creamy vanilla ice cream and indulgent hazelnut choco dip creates a wonderful contrast in every bite.

rumeL Bugis+

Bugis+ #01-07
Opening Hours: 11am – 10pm (Mon – Sun)

Handmade Sourdough Neapolitan Pizzas at Affordable Prices
rumeL is a unique collaboration between Hersing Culinary and Sicilian-born Chef Silvio Gropelli, who famously ranked number one in Australia by the 50 Top Pizza Asia Pacific Guide 2024.

The space is vibrant and playful, featuring jungle-inspired décor and a quirky lemur mascot that is unlike your typical high-end pizzeria.

The menu focuses on naturally fermented sourdough that sits for forty-eight hours, resulting in a crust that is notably crisp yet chewy and far easier to digest than standard chain pizzas.

Prices are refreshingly affordable, with six-inch pizzas starting at just $6.80, allowing you to try several flavours like the classic Margherita or the Smoky BBQ Chicken.

Get the Kaya Butter Sourdough Pizza, a Singapore exclusive that reimagines local breakfast flavours on a charred crust. The combination of warm kaya and melting butter on the artisanal dough creates a sweet and salty experience that surprisingly works.

Must-Visit Bugis Café Spots
