Now, name me one Korean Bingsu shop. Hana Dul Set Okay… you may need some time to think.

It was 2015 when Korean Bingsu shops was sprouting all over Singapore, but many have also quickly melted away with the diminishing trend.

One familiar brand left standing is Nunsaram Korean Dessert Café which has opened a new outlet at Bugis Junction, replacing Honeymoon Dessert (sad that it’s gone).

Nunsaram 눈사람 means “Snowman” in Korean, and has another outlet at Westgate.

Nunsaram is one of the forerunners in Singapore when it comes to Korean Bingsu, the famous icy Korean dessert.

Note that the typical Korean Bingsu is different from say the local style of ice kachang, as one is made of shaved milk and the latter shaved ice.

Explore all 8 variants of this cool sweet treat, including the classic flavour of Injeolmi Bingsu made with Korean rice cake, some fruity and choco flavours, and even locally adapted ones like Milo Bingsu.

The price starts from $11.90 for a regular, $14.90 for large.

Treat yourself with the best-selling Injeolmi Bingsu ($11.90, $14.90), featuring chewy pieces of Korean rice cake.

What makes this dessert distinct is the soya bean powder generously topped over the ice, coating it to seclusion.

Their shaved milk in the bingsu was soft and refined. The chewy rice cakes coated with soybean powder gave a more traditional Korean flavour.

The Strawberry Bingsu ($14.90, $17.90) on the other hand, could be on the sweet side due to the inclusion of jam.

If there is space or you are still having Extraordinary Attorney Woo withdrawals, order a roll of Gimbap.

The Original Gimbap ($10.90) features chicken ham, burdock, yellow pickled radish, cucumber, carrot and egg.

Also try variants with beef bulgogi, tuna-kimchi, tuna-mayo, crab-mayo, cream cheese, and fried shrimp.

For Tteokbokki lovers, the filling stir-fried rice cakes are available in Original, Special, with Cheese, with Bulgogi, or very Spicy from $7.90 onwards.
