Lady M has officially returned to Singapore back on familiar ground at Jewel Changi Airport.
After shuttering all its local outlets in early 2024 due to the end of a long-term licensing agreement, the New York-born patisserie is now back under its own regional management.
I wonder if many people actually realised it was gone or really missed those twenty-layer cakes during their brief absence.
For a brand that first landed here in 2013 and once commanded massive queues, this reopening marks a significant fresh chapter.
I visited the new Jewel outlet to see if the magic was still there.
While my friend was expecting a bit of a crowd given the reopening news, it was actually quite empty.
The interior follows the signature bright and white look that the brand is known for globally. The boutique features a 44-seat cafe area that feels very open and polished.
The menu focuses on their iconic layered crêpe cakes alongside a few newer additions like sponge cakes and tarts.
You can find the Signature Mille Crêpes ($11.80), Green Tea Mille Crêpes ($12.80), Earl Grey Mille Crêpes ($13.50), and the Chocolate Mille Crêpes ($13.50).
Other choices include the Strawberry Shortcake ($13.50), Checkers Cake ($12.80), and Gâteau Nuage ($11.80).
For something new, there are the Strawberry Blossom Mille Crêpes ($13.50) and Taro Mochi Cream Cake ($13.50). Whole cakes are available too, with prices ranging between $108 and $138.
I went with the Pistachio Mille Crêpes (also because the newer flavours were brought out after I ordered).
The layers were as tidy and precise as ever, and the pistachio flavour was present without being too heavy. The cream was light and the cake was chilled well.
Compared to some of the drier renditions I remember having some time back, this was a reliable slice.
Happy they are back because crepe cakes are harder to find now in the current café landscape.
If you are keen to try their limited Dubai Chocolate Cake made with pistachio and crispy kataifi, it has also been launched at their six month pop up at Velocity@Novena Square on Level 1.
This cake inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate will be available at all Lady M outlets from 1 May 2026.
