[Seoul] Colline 콜린 is one of those popular cafe spots in Hongdae that feels like a little escape.
It’s an instagrammable, pretty café that doubles as a flower shop.
And of course, I have to mention its Persimmon Bingsu, which caught my attention online and made me bookmark this place for a visit.
You can reach Colline Café from Sangsu Station (Line 6). Just take Exit 1 and walk straight for about five minutes.
The moment you step in, the scent of fresh flowers hits you, and you’re surrounded by wooden interiors, soft lighting, and greenery everywhere.
That is, if you are not overwhelmed by a possible crowd here, especially during peak periods.
Otherwise, it’s got that warm, inviting feel—perfect for slow mornings or lazy afternoons. If the weather’s nice, the small terrace is a great spot to sit and soak in the atmosphere.
It’s no surprise that this place has been used as a filming location for K-dramas.
One of the café’s highlights is the signature bingsu, available in Milk Red Bean Bingsu (12,000 Won) and Iced Ripe Persimmon Bingsu (12,000 Won), with an option to add red beans (2,200 Won).
The first thing that catches your eye is the colour of the Persimmon Bingsu.
The persimmons glow in a stunning—bright shade of orange, beautifully and neatly layered over soft, snowy ice.
It’s one of those desserts that you almost don’t want to touch because it looks almost too perfect.
But once you do, the first spoonful is a mix of creamy, milky ice and slightly tangy persimmon.
To be honest, I wasn’t that blown away as the persimmons tasted more frozen than juicy.
The drinks are nothing revolutionary (in terms of Seoul cafe standards).
They have the usual espresso-based options, Vienna coffee, and non-coffee alternatives. More interesting choices like Cinnamon Creamccino (6,800 Won) and Iced Hanrabong Cream Latte (7,500 Won) add variety.
When it gets busy, food and drinks can take a while.
But that’s kind of the vibe here—no one’s really rushing. It’s a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere… and shoot some photos of the Persimmon Bingsu.
