[Seoul] Are you a fashionista with a sweet tooth? Or need something for your Instagram content to show off to your friends back home.
Then Café DIOR Seoul might just be the perfect spot for you.
Nestled in the heart of Apgujeong, this trendy café is a must-visit for anyone who wants to indulge in some high-end caffeine and sugar.
Café DIOR is far from a regular café. Owned and run entirely by DIOR, the café offers drinks, desserts, and simple brunch in a posh setting.
Opened since 2019, the cafe can be located on the fifth floor of the Seoul House of DIOR.
The boutique store has a unique look resembling the curves of a dress. It is easy to spot and stands tall in the upscale Gangnam-gu.
The fashion brand created the namesake café to draw a bigger crowd to the brand, whether they are regular shoppers of Dior or not.
As you step inside the café, your eyes will also be treated to an array of luxurious Dior merchandise, household items, handbags, to clothing that are tastefully displayed throughout the café.
Need a DIOR cushion cover? You are in the right place.
All around the store, there are little corners and nooks for you to snap a good picture in. Coupled with the very photogenic desserts, your next social media post should be set. (On a side note, it was quite funny seeing many others taking tons of photos, wearing anything but DIOR. Anyway…)
Even if you are not for luxury branded goods, Café DIOR is an interesting look into the high-end lifestyle.
Do remember to make a reservation as they are always fully booked. As they required a Korean number (which I didn’t have), I reserved in store and spent my time around the area before heading back.
Be warned though – this café is not for the faint of heart or light of wallet. Prices are definitely much higher than other cafes, as the brand recognition is factored in.
The popular drink seems to be the Café Latte (20,000 Won, SGD20.45), with a Dior logo dusted on top with chocolate powder.
Individually, there are classic desserts available. One of them is the Javanais Lemon Praline (32,000 Won, SGD32.72), a decadent tart with a balance of praline, chocolate cremeux and lemon cream.
The other is the Coupe Glacee Delice d’Automne (32,000 Won), an assortment of delicious components centered around a pear sorbet.
Come between 2pm and 5.30pm to splurge on an Afternoon Tea Set with a beverage for two (120,000 Won, SGD122.70).
Macarons, financiers, tarts and more are what will be served on three-tiered cake stand.
So be prepare to shell out some serious cash for your caffeine fix; and really, I don’t think anyone is here for the coffee-coffee.
Café Dior is not somewhere you would go to every trip, but maybe for once in your life – for the photos and bragging rights.

how do i make a reservation without a korean phone number?
Recommended to reserve and wait physically at the shop (if not Korean number). They may provide a specific time period for you to come back. 🙂
