Even if you like to eat Beehoon a lot, you will find Cheeky Beehoon offers a different style from the usual.

Cheeky Beehoon, which went viral from various TikTok videos, is known for its handmade Malaysian-style Beehoon dishes.

Besides the more central outlet at Lucky Plaza, you will find branches at East Coast, Thomson Plaza, and White Sands food court.

By the way, East Coast Cheeky Beehoon has a nostalgic atmosphere filled with ’80s Chinese memorabilia and vintage décor.

The menu at Cheeky Beehoon is straightforward, focusing on variations of beehoon – soup, dry, and with various toppings such as braised pork, mixed pork, lala, or a combination of the above.

Each bowl at Lucky Plaza is priced from $5.80 to $10.50.

I was intrigued by the Cheeky Mixed Pork Beehoon Soup ($5.80).

This beehoon is not quite like the usual; it features a curly look, springy and slightly chewy texture.

It is worth mentioning that the bowl was loaded with ingredients such as sliced tender pork and well-seasoned meatballs – good value for this price in town.

As for the soup, it is slightly peppery, cooked with Japanese pork bones, rock sugar, and goji berries, giving it a light sweetness.

I somehow preferred the dry version a little better, as the beehoon was well-coated with the sauce and retained that slight bouncy QQ characteristic.

The beehoon also absorbed the savoury and slightly spicy sauce pretty well.

During another visit, I had the Cheeky Braised Pork Beehoon ($7.80).

The braised pork belly was tender, falling apart with ease, and its fat melded well with the sauce and noodles.

Adding a spoonful of their coriander garlic sauce enhances the dish with a tangy flavour.

There are sides to complete the meal, such as Charcoal You Tiao ($1.80), Charcoal You Tiao Otah ($4.80), Braised Pork ($4.80), Fried Crab Dumplings ($4.80), and Crab Dumplings Soup ($4.80).
