Where can you find Halal-certified Pastas from $8.50, all at nett prices?

Twyst is making waves across Singapore, attracting pasta lovers with its fresh take on the Italian staple.

You can find outlets at Raffles Place, Asia Square, Guoco Tower, Metropolis, JEM, SingPost Centre, and Sengkang Grand.

Good news for friends in Yishun: there is a new kiosk outlet at Northpoint City.

Price-wise, Twyst is a win, especially given its prime locations. You can have a satisfying meal at nett prices without breaking the bank, which is a big plus for those looking to eat well on a budget.

The vibe is all about speed and efficiency, perfect for busy office workers.

Plus, ordering via the kiosks, or online through a QR code scan (at Raffles and Metropolis) makes grabbing your lunch even quicker and easier.

Here, you can mix and match your meal with six different sauces, a variety of proteins, and extra toppings. They have got something for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians.

Or, you can go for a Chef’s Signature dish if you’re not in the mood to choose. Here are some of Twyst Chef’s Signature Pasta dishes:

Twyst - NEW Affordable Pasta Bar 03

Aglio Olio ($9.90)
The Aglio Olio is the most popular Chef’s Signature choice across outlets.

It includes Barilla spaghetti, chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. A straightforward dish but packed with flavour, proving sometimes simple is best.

To me, the winning part is the garlic as well which is fried until it is just right, mixed with olive oil and a hint of chili, then tossed with the pasta.

Alfredo ($10.90)
If you prefer some creamy goodness, then go for the Alfredo.

Choose between spaghetti or penne, cooked with smoked duck, with bursts of cherry tomatoes and spinach.

The sauce was rich and coated every piece of pasta nicely, making every forkful tasty.

Twyst - NEW Affordable Pasta Bar 05

Laksa Olio ($10.90)
It takes the classic Singaporean Laksa and turns it into a pasta dish.

You’ve got prawns, tomatoes, and edamame all mixed in a sauce that has got a hint of that iconic laksa taste.

I wished that there was the coconut-milk flavour was stronger; but the mild spice level is good for those who do not want their food too hot.

Twyst - NEW Affordable Pasta Bar 06

Gochujang ($10.90)
This Korean-inspired dish is a twist on your typical spaghetti.

For its price, it even comes with prawns, mushrooms, and edamame, all tied together with that distinctive gochujang sauce.

At Twyst, they have tweaked the formula to cater to a broader palate, offering a version that retains the depth of gochujang’s flavour without an overwhelming heat.

Twyst - NEW Affordable Pasta Bar 07

Miso Butter ($10.90)
This one caught my attention with its promise of a savoury-umami experience.

The combination of tender chicken, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes mixed with the rich, creamy blend of miso and butter offered quite a rich mix of flavours.

Twyst - NEW Affordable Pasta Bar 08

Pomodoro ($10.90)
Going back to the basics, this dish celebrates the simple beauty of ripe tomatoes and tangy sundried tomato paste.

This is a straight-forward classic sauce, delivering a burst of tomato flavour that was both sweet and slightly tangy.

If not, go for the “Build Your Own Pasta” which is a popular choice to customise your very own flavours, starting with $8.50.

The process starts with picking your base and type of pasta. You’ve got two choices here: the classic Barilla spaghetti or penne.

For protein, there’s plenty to choose from: poached chicken, assorted seafood, beef pepperoni, sautéed prawn, and smoked duck.

Next up, the add-ons, and oh, the choices. Sous vide egg, edamame, baby spinach, truffle oil, mushrooms, kale, and cherry tomatoes. Always go for the egg.

You would also notice a side dishes menu at some outlets that goes beyond the typical pasta dishes they are known for.

They have added comfort sides like Crispy Mid-Wings, Mac & Cheese, Beef Bolognese, Fries, Karaage and more.

Another surprise comes from the Panini offerings available exclusively at the SingPost Centre.

You have choices ranging from Scrambled Egg with Cheese ($4.90) to more substantial options like Beef Pepperoni, Ham & Marinara ($5.90).

Each panini is freshly-pressed upon order, for crispy edges and a warm, gooey centre.

The Breakfast Promo caught my eye – a freshly pressed Panini for just $3.90, available from 9am to 10:30 am.

You can choose between Scrambled Egg with Cheese or Chicken Ham & Cheese, making it a steal for anyone looking for a quick, satisfying breakfast on the go.

Plus, you can try pairing any of these dishes with a cup of Tiong Hoe Coffee, which has a counter right at SingPost Centre.

I would like to see more pasta and sauce varieties in the future, hopefully with more seasonal specials.

All in all, Twyst Pasta provides customisable pasta dishes and fast service, making it a value-for-money spot with its good portions.
