It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

If you are searching for Christmas roasts, log cakes and pastries for the year-end Christmas house parties and office celebrations, consider getting them from Mandarin Orchard Singapore.

From 23rd November till 31st of December 2016, there will be a special Festive Booth at the Level 1 Lobby, and at Coffee & Crust Level 5. These booths are set up for you to get your Christmas Takeaway Goodies conveniently.

For the Festive savouries, other than the signatures of Premium Honey Glazed Gammon Ham and Roasted USA Turkey, look out for the NEW items of Roasted London Duck with Chinese Herbs, Roasted US Black Angus Beef Rib Eye with Green Peppers, Baked Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Watercress Crust, and Roasted Sakura Chicken with Konbu-soy Glaze.

Not forgetting the sweets of Valrhona Delicious Dulcey Yule Log, Red Velvet Yule Log, Hazelnut Mango Yule Log and other traditional Christmas pies, chocolate, cookies and cakes.

Here are some 10 of the Delectable Takeaway Delights From Mandarin Orchard Singapore:

Premium Honey Glazed Gammon Ham ($318 for 4.2 – 4.5kg boneless, $415 for 6-7kg bone-in)
A perpetual Christmas favourite – golden brown and gorgeous on the outside, succulent and decadent on the inside.

Will be a show-stopping ‘centrepiece’ during the Christmas dinners.

You can have it hot with special homemade honey pineapple sauce, or cold wrapped in your favourite sandwich bread.

Roasted London Duck with Chinese Herbs ($85 for 2.8kg)
Something different for this year? Since London Duck is very popular in Singapore…

This London Roast Duck is newly introduced, created by chefs at Shisen Hanten – the 2 star Michelin Restaurant. In fact, the only 2-star Michelin Chinese restaurant in Singapore.

This Irish duck meat is meticulously marinated, cooked in Chinese herbs, and tenderly soft. (Think your parents should enjoy this.)

Oven Roasted Berkshire Pork Rack with Yuzu-Himalayan Salt Crust ($230 for 3kg)
Berkshire pork is known as the “Kobe beef of pork”, boosting more flavour, juiciness and richness than the regular pork.

This comes encapsulated with a Himalayan salt crust with hints of sweet-tangy-bitter yuzu. When cut open, reveals a slight pink centre.

Spread some of the morel mushroom yuzu sauce over for a more tantalising serve.

Roasted US Black Angus Beef Rib Eye with Green Peppers ($270 for 3kg boneless, $428 for 3.5kg bone-in)
The (bone-in) rib eye is the fattiest of high-end steaks, also with the boldest, most intense flavours.

Therefore, I find the meat good enough to eat on its own.

If not, pair with some Roasted Forest Mushrooms with Herbs, Roasted New Potatoes or Assorted Vegetables to balance the richness off.

Roasted USA Turkey ($218 for 6kg M, $238 for 8kg L)
The signature Thanksgiving dish.

To be honest, I am not usually the biggest fan of turkey meat, but this was really not bad – moist enough, and didn’t have that overly meaty savour.

Tastily flavoured with herbs and chestnut stuffing.

Baked Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Watercress Crust ($135 for 1.5kg)
Great for the family, and one of my personal favourites – also because it is rich in protein and omega 3.

I liked that when the fish was cut apart, the meat was moist and flaky with a thin crisp crust. To be accompanied with mustard dill sauce.

Assorted Sushi Platter ($98 for Deluxe, $130 for Premium, 50 pieces)
Sushi platters work best for my Christmas parties, popular with guests who will take a ‘pop’ at their favourites of salmon and tamago.

Valrhona Delicious Dulcey Yule Log ($80 for 1kg)
Making a sweet comeback to Mandarin Orchard’s festive menu is the Valrhona Delicious Dulcey Yule Log.

Chocolate lovers would be able to appreciate this ensemble of chocolate cremeux, with sweet and salty candied hazelnuts on moist flourless sponge, topped with praline mousse.

Perfect indulgence.

Red Velvet Yule Log ($80 for 1kg)

Hazelnut Mango Yule Log ($80 for 1kg)
These two beautifully created desserts of the Red Velvet Cheese Yule Log and Mango Hazelnut Yule Log, have also been popular with customers for that sweet ending to the festive meal.

Other than the Yule Logs, other favourites for takeaways include Gingerbread House ($38), Christmas Stollen ($38 for 500g), Christmas Pudding ($28 for 400g), Festive Chocolate Puzzles ($25 for 150g), and Festive Praline Box ($35 for 12 pcs).
