Onyx Coffee Lab from the United States takes first place this year. They are famous for using modern technology and green energy.
Tim Wendelboe from Norway follows in second place. His shop in Oslo focuses on light roasts and direct trade.
As for Singapore, Apartment Coffee is ranked at number six in the world for 2026. This makes it the best coffee shop in Asia for the second year in a row.

This ranking comes from a very detailed evaluation process. A panel of over 800 industry experts provides 70% of the final score. These judges include world-class baristas and experienced roasters.
The remaining 30% of the score comes from public votes. Over 350,000 coffee fans shared their opinions for this edition.
The judges look at nine specific areas to grade each shop. These include coffee quality, barista skill and sustainability. They also check for consistency to ensure every visitor gets the same high standard.
