The Coach Coffee Shop at WEAVE Resorts World Sentosa is Coach’s first permanent café in Singapore.
Positioned at the front of the Coach store, it blends café seating with shelves of logo-covered mugs, tote bags and other merch.
The setting nods to New York style, with concrete walls, industrial lighting and a leafy facade.
Indoors feels modern and polished but not exactly cosy, especially when it gets crowded and noisy with tourists.
The terrace seating makes for a possible people-watching spot, at least until the Singapore heat decides otherwise.
The menu plays on American comfort food with a few eccentric detours. Yeah, looking at the Chilli Crab Soft Serve.
So, signature soft serve options include Chilli Crab ($9), Lemon Meringue Pie ($9), Peaches & Cream ($8) and Peanut Butter & Jelly ($8), with the option to get them as The Flight ($19) or in a cone (+$1.50).
The Flight soft serve lets you try four flavours in one go, which is great for the indecisive, but again they perish fast in Singapore’s weather (especially when there is no available indoor seating).
For something more substantial, you can have your go at hot sandwiches such as the Reuben ($19), Fully Loaded Reuben ($30), Wagyu Beef Hotdog ($15) and Grilled Cheese ($13).
From the bakery, choices include Ricotta Toast ($8), Cinnamon Roll ($6.50), Donuts ($5) and Crullers ($5.50).
As the café was overwhelmed with customers, I settled for a Raspberry Cruller which was light, crisp, and sugary-sweet (though that was expected).
Specialty drinks include Iced Chocolate ($8.50), Hot Chocolate ($8.50), Iced Lemonade ($9), Strawberry Matcha Latte ($9), Cherry Lemonade ($8) and Orange Cream ($9).
The Strawberry Matcha Latte ($9) is the Instagram star of the drinks menu, with the green and pink layers practically posing for the camera.
The matcha brought some earthiness, the strawberry added sweetness, further topped with a layer of creamy foam.
The result was pleasant, though the creaminess and sugar tended to mask the matcha.
The Coach Coffee Shop can get too busy, and at times the crowd seems to stretch the staff thin. Even so, they stay attentive and polite, doing their best to keep orders moving.
Prices lean high and the space is not built for long, lingering afternoons, but it delivers a quick, stylish stop for shoppers and resort visitors.
