IMM Thai: Delightful Dishes and Vibrant Ambience

Menu-wise, you can enjoy a spread of Thai classic dishes, Thai-Chinese style stir-fries, and some modern items that go well with drinks.

Satisfy your cravings with these 10 recommended IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro items and more:

Tom Yum Soup Seafood from IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Tom Yum Soup Seafood ($18.90)
The Tom Yum Soup is creamy and rich, offering flavours that dance on your palate.

I found the base slightly on the sweeter and milkier side, which mellows some of its tanginess and spiciness.

What’s noteworthy is the seafood is fresh and plentiful, with generous portions of prawns, squid, and sliced fish, making each spoonful a comforting-zesty experience.

You can also customise your order by ordering a Tom Yum Mama version, transforming the soup into a hearty meal.

Tom Yum Shrimp Canapé at IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Tom Yum Shrimp Canapé ($10.90)
Served as four pieces, these bite-sized delights are good for sharing, especially if you are enjoying a drink.

What you get is spicy and tangy Tom Yum shrimp topping complemented by a crisp toast base. An interesting starter to try.

Thai Prawn Cake at IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Thai Prawn Cake ($15.90)
In my opinion, this dish while slightly pricier than the usual, is worth ordering. The Prawn Cakes are made in-house with 100% tiger prawns.

These cakes are so juicy and chunky, with no additional starch to detract from the natural flavour of the prawns.

The golden-brown exterior provides a satisfying crunch, while the inside retains its succulent texture. Extra oomph when dipped into the sweet sauce.

IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Thai Fried Fish ($38.90 for Sweet & Sour, Chili or Mango Salad)
If you come with your family and friends, then a Thai-style Fish, will be great as a ‘centrepiece’.

This is fried to a golden crisp, with a tender and moist interior.

This time I ordered the mango salad version which adds a refreshing element. You take one bite of fish, topped with some salad and specially-made green chilli spicy sauce.

Pop it in your mouth to savour the mix of sweet and tangy flavours together with the savoury fish.

If you prefer a lighter steamed option, they also offer a Thai Steam Fish with Lime Juice, which is one of their best-sellers as well.

Curry Flower Crab from IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Curry Flower Crab ($18.90)
My personal Number 1 dish during a meal, and one that deserves attention – also for its price.

The crab is cooked in a aromatic Thai yellow curry sauce that is both creamy and complex.

Compared to other styles of curry, yellow curry is milder, making it a favourite for those who enjoy a gentle kick without overwhelming heat.

The mild heat and aromatic blend of spices create a base that pairs so well with jasmine rice.

Thai Basil Rice at IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Thai Basil Rice ($10.90 for Chicken or Pork, $12.90 for Beef, $15.90 for Crispy Pork Rice)
If you are thinking of a one-dish meal, this is a simple yet satisfying choice that showcases the bold flavours of Thai cuisine.

The meat is stir-fried with fresh basil leaves, garlic, and chili, creating a fragrant and spicy dish that is packed with flavour.

I found the kick rather punchy, and am glad that they didn’t over-mute the spiciness for the local palate (yet).

Thai Chicken Noodles at IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Thai Chicken Noodles ($10.90)
This kway teow dish reminded me of Thai Drunken Noodles but without the spice.

The noodles were cooked smooth and soft, with a wok-hei that gave them a smoky flavour (it stayed warm even though I left it there on the table for a while).

I also liked the touch of deep-fried garlic that added crunch and distinct fragrance.

Heart-shaped Mango Sticky Rice from IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Mango Sticky Rice ($10.90)
Between the Thai Red Rubies ($8.90) and Mango Sticky Rice ($10.90), I opted for the latter.

Thankfully, the sticky rice was cooked till soft with no lumpiness, drizzled with fragrant coconut milk.

What made this dish even most charming was its presentation – arranged in a heart shape, making us go ”awwwww”.

Thai Milk Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea at IMM Thai Fusion Bar & Bistro

Thai Milk Tea, Thai Green Milk Tea ($4.80)
To wash down the meal, I ordered both the Thai Milk Tea and the Thai Green Milk Tea.

Both were smooth (slightly to the milky side) and not too sweet, which provided a nice contrast to the more robust flavours of the food.
