Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory
Diners are introduced to an expansive Chir Chir menu that boasts many variations of Korean Fried Chicken, prepared with distinctive sauce blends.

The tasty sauces include Garlicky Soy, Spicy Yangnyeom, Hot Cheesy, Cheesy Fondue, Honey Butter, to Vampire Killer.

You can choose to indulge in the brand’s signature fried whole chicken, or have it conveniently portioned into a half chicken, tenders, drumlets and wings.

I enjoyed the fragrant Garlicky Chicken ($29.88 for whole chicken) most, bathed in a mouthwatering house-made soy sauce, accentuated with minced garlic and fried garlic cloves.

To complement the chicken, there are chunks of roasted sweet potatoes and fried toppoki – chewy Korean rice cakes.

Another notable mention would be the Vampire Killer ($28.80), a daring ensemble of drumlets and wings. These are passionately tossed in Chir Chir’s secret spicy sauce, with a generous garnish of fried garlic, dry chilli, and spring onion.

Nipong Naepong
Nipong Naepong stands proudly being Singapore’s first and only jjamppong specialty restaurant.

This venue captures the essence of the Korean-Chinese seafood noodles soup dish but with a fusion twist.

The heart of each Ppong dish is Nipong Naepong’s signature jjolmyeon, a variety of wheat noodles produced exclusively in South Korea for the brand.

For the adventurous seeking a fiery feast, the Seafood Cha Pong ($20.88) is an impeccable choice. This classic jjamppong delivers the quintessential spicy punch, and those who wish to elevate the heat can select between level 1 or level 2 spice.

Each bowl is a symphony of textures and flavours, brimming with fried cabbage, mussels, squid, prawn, and even quail eggs.

Additionally, there’s a nod to meat lovers with beef options.

What could also pique your interest are the sweet and savoury Pizzas. These are not your typical pizzas; they are ingeniously crafted on baked tortilla wraps and accompanied by a fluffy whipped cream layer.

The Ni Pizza – Sweet Potato ($20.88) and the Nae Pizza – Garlic ($20.88) deserve a special mention – the latter is generously layered with garlic butter.

Masizzim
Masizzim is an enticing fusion of the Korean terms ‘masi’ (delicious) and ‘jjim’ (stew).

The brand stakes its claim with signature offerings of Beef Rib Stew, Pork Rib Stew, and its own interpretation of the iconic Army Stew.

Each stew showcases meat that has been meticulously marinated overnight to achieve peak flavour, and subsequently, slow-cooked in a secretive sauce, ensuring a fall-off-the-bone tenderness.

Served in cast-iron pots over live flames, these stews maintain their warmth, ensuring a hot, comforting meal.

Their Army Stew ($31.88) features an array of ingredients from spicy pork or beef ribs, chicken sausage, luncheon meat, fish cake, tofu, kimchi, mixed vegetables, cheddar cheese and ramyeon.

And, if this wasn’t tempting enough, Masizzim introduces playful interactions with its Rice Balls ($10.88 onwards).

You can don gloves and have fun moulding a mix of ingredients, such as Crabmeat & Roe, Kimchi Tuna, or Bulgogi Beef, into imaginative shapes.

88 Pocha
Next up, 88 Pocha captures the essence of the Pojangmacha 포장마차 culture, with its diverse selection of Korean street food.

From the succulent LA Galbi (Beef Ribs), Spicy Cheese Dakgalbi, Spicy Chicken Feet, to the comforting Oden Soup of Korean Fish Cake, the offerings are a reminder of the bustling streets of Seoul.

The LA Galbi ($29.88 for 12 pcs) or grilled beef short ribs stand out from the usual galbi due to their unique cut through the bone rather than beside it.

This method allows the meat to grill faster and accentuates its robust flavour, a result of the delectable sweet and savoury marinade it is bathed in.

Fans of Korean noodles won’t be disappointed either, with choices ranging from Corn Cheese Spicy Ramyeon to the fragrant Truffle Ramyeon.

Burger+
Do you miss Burger+? Well, it is back!

Celebrating gourmet burgers made from the finest ingredients, the brand takes pride in its in-house prepared potato-flour buns and the signature B+ sauce.

While the classic options like the Cheeseburger ($13.80) and Bacon Cheese Burger ($15.30) are undeniably inviting, the most eye-catching may very well be the Truffle Burger ($21) with multi-layered combination of truffle puree, truffle mayonnaise, real wild truffle shavings.

For those seeking a distinct Korean touch, the Korean Bulgogi Burger ($13.80) emerges as a must-try.

It has US-imported beef patty glazed in special Bulgogi sauce, double dose of mayo, and filled with caramelised onions.
