After a cafe guide on garden-themed cafes and pretty pink cafes in Singapore, there’s one there is specifically floral-themed for you to explore these gorgeous spaces.

Under Der Linden
5B Portsdown Rd, Singapore 139311
Opening Hours: 9am – 9pm (Sun – Thurs), 9am – 10pm (Fri – Sat)

Floral-Themed Concept With European Vibes And Gorgeous Cakes
Opened by the folks behind Cafe Do Nicole’s Flower at East Coast and Le Jardin at Fort Canning, Under Der Linden is their newest and most ambitious concept.

The alfresco dining area still retains the charm of a colonial building, decked in mainly black and white colours such as the black marble table tops and vintage, retro-style rattan chairs with vases of potted plants on each table.

Different menus are served throughout the day, starting with bread, dessert and drinks available all day, lunch starting from 11.45am till 3.30pm, bar snacks from 3.30pm to 5.30pm followed by dinner service.

An aesthetic selection of Inaya Dark Choco Cake ($14), Vanilla Strawberry Choux ($11), Citrus Tart ($11), Chamomile Mango Swiss Roulade ($11) and Lovely Earl Grey Lavender ($12) can be found at the display counter.

The Chamomile Mango Swiss Roulade ($11) was my favourite, shaped liked a real chamomile flower and lightly scented with the aroma which is distinctive in the taste, balanced off with fruity notes of mango. Under Der Linden (One North)

Cafe De Nicole’s Flower
224 Telok Kurau Rd, #01-01, Singapore 423836
Opening Hours: 9am – 10pm (Mon – Sun)

Floral-Themed Café With Soufflé Pancakes At East Coast
There are multiple Instagram-worthy corners in this spacious 45-seaters cafe: the florist corner at the entrance of the shop, followed by the study room, kitchen, living room and finally the dining room.

The cafe probably can serve as a backdrop for some Instagram “fashion shoot”, magazine spreads or dating shows – IF it is unoccupied.

Being a florist shop, an event space, a workshop venue and an animal playground (yes, it’s pets friendly too), the interior is like a garden with its pleasing floral scent in almost every part of the space.

Their all-day menu includes dishes such as Wild Mushroom Veloute ($8.90), Prawn Linguine Aglio Olio ($21.90), Flower Clam Linguine Vongole ($21.90), Spaghetti Carbonara ($17.90), and Grilled Chicken ($21.90).

Soufflé Pancakes are also available here, available in different flavours including Original ($15.90 – $19.90 depending on toppings), Matcha ($17.90), Tiramisu ($19.90), Creamy Sweet Potato ($19.90), Blueberry ($19.90) and Dark Chocolate with Pecan Hazelnut ($21.90).

The Original Soufflé Pancakes ($15.90 onwards) comes with butter, syrup, cream, mixed berries (strawberry, blueberry, cranberry) and a scoop of coconut ice cream. Cafe De Nicole’s Flower (East Coast)

café Q Classified
Takashimaya S.C., Ngee Ann City, 391 Orchard Road #03-15, Singapore 238872
Opening Hours: 10am – 10pm (Mon – Sun)

Pretty Baby-Pink Floral Cafe At Takashimaya
Opened by the same team behind Greyhound Cafe Singapore, Black Society, Masa by Black Society, BreadStory and Central 中環, café Q Classified is the latest brainchild at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Ngee Ann City.

Their striking pink floral fantasy theme can be easily spotted, with a borderless design without the use of walls and glass doors.

This creates an open-concept space that looks visually bigger.

With hanging plants and colourful plants around the peripheral of the space, this makes a perfect backdrop for taking that #OOTD shots.

Their menu is quite comprehensive, with a variety of Mains ($18 – $28), Sandwich ($14 – $28), Sides ($9 – $18), Salad ($12 – $26), Dutch Baby Pancakes ($9 – $15), Freakshakes ($14), Coffee ($7), Tea ($8) and Smoothies ($12).

There are Asian influences in the dishes served such as Bulgogi Beef Wagyuwich ($26), Tamagotchi Egg Uni Sandwich ($26), Seafood Laksa Toast ($16), Trio Xin Tian Di Chinese Bunwich ($16). café Q Classified (Ngee Ann City)

Brown Butter
583 Orchard Road, #01-18-19, Forum The Shopping Mall, Singapore 238884
Opening Hours: 11am – 8:30pm (Sun – Thurs), 11am – 9pm (Fri – Sat)

Floral-Themed Cafe At Forum Galleria Orchard Road
The team behind Brown Butter is also behind the Over-The-Top Milkshakes at Benjamin Browns and Flying Noodles at Hana restaurant, so one would expect their other venture to be skewed for Instagram.

The entire space at Brown Butter is full of Instagram spots (perhaps a little OTT); from a wall full of pink roses to an entire pink shelf, pink fridge and a dual tone wall decked in pink and teal for the perfect #OOTD shot.

Items offered include Lobster Mayo Toast ($32), Truffle Mushroom ($18), Salmon Mentaiko Toast ($19), Cheesy Chicken Roll ($18), to Cajun Grilled Prawn Roll ($22).

If cheesecakes are too mainstream as a dessert, check out their version which is literals shaped like a “Cheese”!

Coming in 3 different flavours: Lemon, Beetroot and Avocado at $8.90 each, each cheesecake is beautifully crafted to create the exact shape.

Apart from the space being decked in a pretty shade of pink, Brown Butter has created a healthy menu that is colouring-free and preservative-free and yet, instagrammable.
