Is there a conspiracy going on or something? In a manner of months, 3 wings company has arrived in Singapore and all in the east – Wing Stop at Bedok Mall, Wing World at East Coast Road and Wing Zone at Tampines Century Square.

Love how creative they are with their naming. What will you call your Wing shop?

Wing Zone is the latest to join in, an Atlanta-based American restaurant chain with 100 over branches that specialises in buffalo wings. It was founded by two University of Florida students delivering wings to college buddies in the early 1990s.

They sell chicken wings, chicken tenders, chicken burgers, chicken sandwiches & chicken salads are available as well. You get the drift.

Good news. It is halal as well.

There are 17 flavours in total, such as Buffalo Bliss, Honey Q, Garlic Parm, Mango Fire, Thai Chili, Liquid Gold (honey mustard), Sweet Samurai (soy, honey, ginger and teriyaki) and Lemon Zinger.

The original wings are at $8.50 for 6 (1 flavour), $15.95 for 12 ($15.95). A little pricey huh.

I thought that the sauces were quite peppery hot with a tasty trace of sourness – not too bad. BUT the deal breaker was that the wings were cold. And I really mean cold-cold. The jumbo wedge fries were the best things in the tray.
