10 Favourite Stalls from Tiong Bahru Food Centre – From Chwee Kueh, Noodles to Kopi

Tiong Bahru Market & Food Centre has been one of Singapore’s favourites, and in fact the the first modern market to be built in a housing area in 1955. It has been updated by the National Environment Agency (NEA) that the food centre will closed for three months from 20th Feb 2017 (Mon) till 19th May 2017 (Fri) for repairs, redecoration and renovation works. It is possible that some stalls may not return after the renovations due to older hawkers taking the opportunity to retire, and dwindling sales at a couple of the market stalls.
