Readers of DanielFoodDiary.com should get the sense that I am a fan of Tai Cheong Bakery in Hong Kong. And yes, they have finally launched their first permanent outlet in Singapore in the basement food hall of Takashimaya Shopping Centre. The ones in Hong Kong are touted as one of the best renditions there, with crumbly cookie-like shell, buttery fragrance, and smooth wobbly egg custard.
