Easy & Healthy Overnight Oats Recipe, with MARIGOLD HL Milk
It took me some time to realise about the existence of “Overnight Oats”, and it has become one of my must-have breakfast or nutritious ‘snack’ between meals. Especially helpful when you need to hurry to work and have no time to prepare breakfast.
The recipe is actually very simple: you soak oats with milk in a glass or jar the night before, include your favourite toppings such as fruits or nuts, leave them in the fridge and delicious Overnight Oats will be ready the next morning.
For busy executives, you can also prepare more beforehand, take them to work in mason jars, for an energy booster and tummy filler while working. #abalancedlife
Here’s a no-frills recipe for Overnight Oats with MARIGOLD HL Milk:
Rolled oats (about half the jar)
1 cup of MARIGOLD HL Milk
Toppings: Sliced fruits, nuts or seeds
Sweetener (optional): Honey, cinnamon or homemade fruit jam
Other possible ingredients: chia seeds, green tea powder
Take a mason jar or bowl, add a serving of old fashioned rolled oats.
Fill up the glass with 1 cup of MARIGOLD HL Milk.
For added taste, you can use milks of other flavours such as chocolate, strawberry or banana.
Add 1 tbsp of chia seeds, a sweeter such as homemade fruit jam, or green tea powder to your liking.
Leave them in the fridge overnight or for at least 4-6 hours.
During the next morning, add your favourite toppings, such as granola, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, flax seeds for added crunch and nutrition, fruits such as berries, bananas, kiwi fruits (those which can last) and raisins.
The list goes on. Tah-dah, there you have it.

For best results, let the oats soak in the fridge for full 8 hours.

As you can see, the options are limitless with the versatile add-ins. The best part about these Overnight Oats is they actually taste BOTH healthy and flavourful, almost like a dessert.
Having Overnight Oats early for breakfast helps me feel full longer, perhaps a great way to ward off weight gain and slim down too!
